How I Built My Lash Business to Premium Pricing (And Why You Can Too)
Hey babe — let’s talk money 💋
If you’ve ever felt nervous about raising your lash prices, you’re not alone.
When I first started GG Lash Co., I charged what everyone else did because I didn’t think I was “ready” to price higher.
But let me tell you — premium pricing changed everything.
It gave me freedom, balance, and the ability to pour more into every single client and student I serve.
So today, I’m walking you through exactly how I built my lash business to premium pricing and how you can too.
💎 Step 1: Deliver a Luxury Experience (Not Just a Service)
Premium pricing starts before you ever touch a lash tweezer.
From the moment your client lands on your booking site, they should feel the difference.
Professional branding and website design
Streamlined online booking and policies
A clean, elevated studio atmosphere
Clear communication and consistent results
Clients don’t just pay for lashes — they pay for how you make them feel.
If you want to charge luxury prices, your entire client experience has to feel luxury from start to finish.
💬 Step 2: Know Your Numbers
You can’t price confidently until you know your cost of doing business.
Here’s what I track at GG Lash Co.:
Cost per service (products, disposables, etc.)
Rent and utilities
Software, marketing, and insurance
Time investment per client
Once you know your actual expenses and desired profit margin, you can price from logic instead of fear.
Premium pricing isn’t about guessing — it’s about building a business that’s sustainable.
✨ Step 3: Stop Apologizing for Charging Your Worth
The moment I stopped feeling guilty about my rates, my dream clients started showing up.
Because here’s the truth: the clients who value quality, retention, and artistry aren’t price shopping.
They want to know they’re in good hands — and that confidence starts with you.
When you communicate your value clearly and consistently, your pricing becomes non-negotiable.
🌿 Step 4: Raise Your Prices Strategically
When you’re ready to raise your prices, do it intentionally.
Here’s my approach:
Announce it in advance. Give your existing clients 30–60 days’ notice.
Honor current clients for a limited time if you want to show appreciation.
Increase gradually if needed (for example, $10–$20 per service).
Update your branding + policies to reflect the shift — everything should feel elevated.
And remember: you don’t owe anyone an explanation for running your business sustainably.
💕 Step 5: Back It Up with Education & Growth
The fastest way to justify premium pricing? Invest in your education.
Every time I took a training, refined my technique, or improved my systems, my work and my confidence leveled up — and so did my prices.
If you’re ready to charge more, make sure your skills, setup, and experience align with that pricing tier.
That’s exactly why I created my 2-Day 1:1 Lash Training Experience — to help artists gain the confidence, technique, and business knowledge they need to actually raise their rates.
💬 Real Talk
Raising your prices doesn’t push people away — it attracts the right ones.
The clients who stay will value you more, respect your policies, and refer others who do the same.
You deserve to be paid for your artistry, your time, and your energy.
